Deeply grieved by the flash floods in Uttarakhand that have left several thousands traumatized, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat(jkp.org), a trust has donated Rupees One Crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for relief work in Uttarakhand state.

Trust representative Ram Puri of Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj met the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Akhilesh Yadav at his official residence at 5 Kalidas Marg, Lucknow on Wednesday and handed over demand draft of Rs. One Crore. Ram Puri also conveyed the deep condolences of Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj on this massive destruction of human life in the State of Uttarakhand. A message from Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj urging the victims to have courage and unshakeable faith in god and praising the Army Jawans for their valiant efforts in rescuing people was also handed over to the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Flood-ravaged Uttarakhand has reached its last leg of evacuation as over four thousand are still missing and hundreds continue to be stranded.

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP) – Bhakti Dham, is a non-profit, charitable & spiritual organisation, registered under the Indian Registration Act 1908 vide Registration No. 13714. Donations to the Trust has been granted deduction under section 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 vide Exemption Order No – “DIT(E) I / DEL – JE22518 – 22032011 2779” dated 22-03-2011 issued from Office of the Director of Income Tax (E), Delhi.

As mentioned above Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat(JKP) has been registered under 80G and anybody making a donation will be able to get 50% of the donated amount as relaxation for his/her income tax deductions.

Minimum Amount: Rs 500
Maximum Amount: Rs 10,000

I can provide receipts for the amount of money donated, which can be deposited to get the required deductions.

Note: If somebody wants to donate above Rs 10,000. In this case, cash is not acceptable, "check" in favour of Prem Mandir/Shyama Shyam Dham Vrindavan will work. I can provide more details if required.
